Hacker’s RC-FREE powered paraglider wing is the result of years of R&D by Hacker and full size manufacturer, SWING. The measure of a great RC paraglider wing is how well it can handle turbulence or wild aerobatic maneuvers where the wing may become deformed – losing it’s inflated, parabolic shape. The wing has to retain it’s shape, or get it back after an upset, or your not flying. Hacker’s single-skin technology has proven itself to be the best performing, quickest opening paraglider wing on the market today. AIRFOIL, AIRFOIL, AIRFOIL
There’s a lot going on here to make a great flying paraglider wing. Check out the airfoil shape on the RC-FREE / SENSIS above. There are numerous stiffeners in the leading edge, and each line is carefully measured and tied off. Note how the wing is “reflexed” or curves up at the trailing edge. This is a flying wing after all!
PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS
The Hacker RC-FREE powered paraglider is designed to be the ultimate flyer. It’s size, structure and airfoil are all carefully optimized to make it easy to launch and forgiving to fly. Hacker’s experience with many hundreds of pilots in Europe shows us that the power pack setup is just as critical as the wing. It’s a bit counterintuitive to most RC pilots, but too much power is a bad thing for PARA-RC applications.
LOTS OF ROOM TO GROW FOR EXPERTS
The Hacker RC-FREE powered paraglider is also the go-to wing for all of our aerobatic competitors. The lower aspect ratio (the wing planform is less rectangular) allows it to spin like a dervish when it is rigged and over-powered for the pros. Loops, rolls, reverse stalls, wingovers, spins – RC-FREE can do them all!
We recommend upgrading the power to the Hacker A30 8XL on one 10×5 prop, changing to more powerful servos and switching to a double-throw line rig for the most aggressive aerobatics
(Attach the brake lines to the frame and run each through a loop on the corresponding arm so the line is pulled twice as far).
POWER PACK OPTIONS
This seems pretty obvious, but the wing needs to “believe” the power pack is UNDER the wing at all times. Too much power easily upsets that equilibrium, and beginners are much better served by a modest power set up. We’ve assembled a power system specifically for beginners, the Hacker PARA-RC PowerPack S, and it provides more than enough power for the average pilot to have a great time learning PARA-RC skills. We sell this power pack at a significant discount with the wings in the combos shown below.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE + HACKER EXCLUSIVE RADIO MIXER INCLUDED
Para-RC-Mix installs between your radio (3 channels, minimum needed) and converts your elevator and aileron channels to left and right + brake operation for PARA-RC. Third channel operates the throttle.
Assembly takes about 90 minutes. Simply bolt in 2 servos, bolt the motor and prop cage to the seat frame, and attach the arms to the servos. Install radio and battery!

If I could pick one word to describe the Hacker Powered Paraglider it would be AWESOME! That’s pretty much how I feel about it. It’s one of my all time favorite R/C aircraft. It looks great, flys great, and everyone who sees it smiles. Just about anyone can fly one and there is a huge range of lipo sizes that fit so you can get really long flight times of over 20 minutes if you want. It can fly slow and graceful or you can tear up the sky with aerobatics. If you are at all interested in something that is unique, fun and easy to fly,
